SEPTEMBER 11, 2022 IN EDEN MILLS: The Eden Mills Writers’ Festival returns with in-person events. More info to be announced.

JUNE 27, 2022 ONLINE: The League of Canadian Poets Annual General Meeting will be held virtually. More info to be announced.

JUNE 12, 2022 ONLINE: Guernica Editions presents a group launch featuring new releases, 3:30 p.m. ET via ZOOM. Check their website or their Facebook Event page for additional information.

JUNE 11 TO 12, 2022 IN TORONTO: The Word on the Street, a Toronto book and magazine festival will be held  on Queen’s Park Crescent from Bloor to Wellesley Street. More information on the festival website.

JUNE 2, 2022 ONLINE: The Writers Union of Canada (TWUC) presents its annual meeting, 1 p.m. EDT via ZOOM. This two hour event will be followed by a social hour. More information to be announced.

MAY 15, 2022 IN TORONTO: Guernica Editions presents an “In Person” group launch featuring new releases, 3:30 p.m. ET at 268 Augusta Avenue. 

APRIL 1 TO 30, 2022 ACROSS CANADA: The League of Canadian Poets presents National Poetry Month

APRIL 25, 2022 ONLINE: Aeolus House presents a virtual poetry month reading featuring recent books by Canadian authors, 7:30 to 9 p.m.  See poster below for additional information.

APRIL 23, 2022 IN SARNIA: The Book Keeper presents a book signing with Najah Shuqair, author of Quick and Easy Cookbook: A Recipe and a Poem Middle Eastern Cuisine, 2 to 3 p.m.  at the Book Keeper, 500 Exmouth Street. Admission is free.

APRIL 23, 2022 IN ST CATHARINES: The Niagara Branch of the Canadian Authors Association presents “Poetry, Prose and Painters”. Advanced registration required.

APRIL 22, 2022 IN SARNIA: One Book Lambton 2021-2022 presents an evening of conversation with Perdita Felicien: world champion, Olympian, TV host, speaker and author of this year’s selection, My Mother’s Daughter, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sarnia Library Theatre, 124 Christina South Street. NOTE: This is a ticketed event. Registration required on the One Book Lambton website.

APRIL 21, 2022 ONLINE: The Office of the Poet Laureate of Ontario presents “The Spirit of Poetry Across Ontario” with readings by poet laureates across Ontario in celebration of National Poetry Month, 7 to 8:30 p.m. via ZOOM. Admission is free. See poster below.

APRIL 20, 2022 ONLINE: Antler River Poetry (formerly Poetry London) presents guest readers Khashayar Mohammadi and Klara du Plessis with local opener TBA, 7 p.m. EDT via their Facebook Event Page.
