NOVEMBER 20, 2021 IN ST. CATHARINES: The Niagara Branch of the Canadian Authors Association presents “Writing the Smell of Varnish”, a poetry workshop with poet laureate John B. Lee, 10 to 1 p.m. at the St. Catharines Public Library, 54 Church Street. Advance registration required.

NOVEMBER 10, 2021 ONLINE: Blue Denim Press presents the virtual launch of Intervals of Hope by Christopher Canniff, 7 p.m. EST via Facebook Live. The author will read and discuss his latest novel set during the two world wars, based on his grandfather’s diary and letters. Moderated by Shane Joseph.

NOVEMBER 7, 2021 IN STRATFORD: The Windsor 23 Reading Series and Open Mic (formerly the Red Lion Reading Series) presents featured guests Mark Hertzberger, Carrie Lee Connel, and Andreas Gripp followed by an open mic, 6 to 8:30 p.m.  at 23 Albert Street.
